All You Need To Know About ECCC
March 10th, 2010

Emerald City Comicon is this weekend in Seattle, WA at the Washington State Convention Center! Saturday and Sunday, I’ll be at Booth 102 with my Halfpixel cohorts Dave Kellett, Brad Guigar and Scott Kurtz, and right next door to a cabal of many other webcartoonists.

I will have just for you:

- An ECCC-debut, very limited 12×18″ poster for Seattle (it is rad, trust me!)
- How The Jinxlets Saved the Space Zoo books (also rad and debuting at ECCC!)
- Starslip Crisis Books 1, 2 and 3
- Chainsawsuit 1 and 2
- Jinxlet plushes and adoption kits
- of course sketches
- unlimited side- and front-hugs (subject to certain parameters)
- I will fill up your answering machine if you stand me up this time

Plus! Don’t forget the previous night (that’s this Friday the 12th!) David Malki ! and I will be performing Tweet Me Harder, our comedy podcast, LIVE at the Topatoco pre-con party at Arcane Comics West Seattle starting at 7pm (but come at 6pm if you want to mingle)!

I will see you at all these places in mere days, Pacific Northwest! (East coast, don’t fret: your turn is coming in two weeks!)

March 5th, 2010

In Seattle for Emerald City Comicon? Keep that Friday night open on your schedule:

TopatoCo Presents: TMH LIVE in Seattle, WA – March 12!

We’re very pleased to bring TMH Live to the TopatoCo Emerald City Comicon Kickoff Party, hosted at Arcane Comics & More in West Seattle, WA!  TopatoCo (the fun-things-publisher that produces merchandise for both Kris and David’s comic strips) is bringing tons of its popular cartoonists to the Emerald City Comicon the weekend of March 13 & 14, and the night before, they’re throwing a fantabulous pre-party for all to come and enjoy! Admission is free!

IN SUMMARY – cool party, meet some cartoonists, listen to a live comedy show and go home happy! What could be better???

Though the comic store is open all day, our folks will start getting there around 6PM and TMH LIVE will start at 7PM.  The address is: 3219 California Ave SW, Seattle WA 98116.

We’ll be hanging out afterwards for a meet-&-greet as well. See you there on Friday, March 12!

P.S. You can also RSVP and tell your friends on FACEBOOK!

ROFLCon appearance added!
March 3rd, 2010

ROFLCON II
When: April 30th – May 1st, 2010
Where:
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Yes! I will be appearing at ROFLCon in late April for my first visit to MIT, and my first panicked visit to a world I barely understand. Thankfully I will be with my trusted cohort David Malki !, alongside whom I will be performing a LIVE edition of our acclaimed comedy podcast Tweet Me Harder at the show!

Also, the Jinxlet coloring books are now directly available from me — I hadn’t realized CreateSpace made you sign up for an account. I have eliminated this barrier! It’s a kid-safe book that’s really not aimed at children, but more like a wink at Starslip readers as to how a kid’s book would have to deal with things like Jupiter exploding and Xxxyyy and the Chronomantic’s bent towards… chrononautical lovemaking. (It’s handled very delicately.)

New book! How The Jinxlets Saved The Space Zoo
March 1st, 2010
How The Jinxlets Saved The Space Zoo is here, in coloring book form! It’s a story about two zookeepers, two time-travelers, and a whole lot of Jinxlets. When a star gets sick, it’s up to the Jinxlets to save the day! The young reader may even pick up some xenobiology if he or she isn’t careful. 34 pages, B&W.

Book also contains a message for parents, and psychological checklist.

Get one with a Jinxlet and an adoption kit for a reduced price! The Jinxlet plush sits about 10″ tall and is soft all the way through. The adoption kit features a certificate with a unique name, a letter from Memnon Vanderbeam, and instructions for care and feeding. Ages 3 and up.
